We’re down to our last few interviews for Women in Horror Month on Unusual Fiction. So, without further ado we start this glorious sunny Tuesday with today’s author of darkest, extreme horror, Allisha McAdoo.
Which horror genre do you write in?
I write in different horror genres, however, extreme is my favourite.
Why do you write horror? Tell us about your horror journey?
I enjoy scaring people. I enjoy making relatable characters and put them through hell.
Your favorite horror author and the book you like best by this author?
Sam West- Flesh factory
Name a character in a film, book or legend that you wish you had created in your fiction.
What scares you?
Please, include a paragraph of your work – your favorite passage or a few lines from a work in progress.
Below is a paragraph from my w.i.p Mr. Nice Guy
Am I sorry for what I have done? Absolutely not. If I got a chance to go back to a normal life I will continue to do it. People suck and there is no real justice. I am not a hero, or vigilante. I never asked to born in this life. I am merely trying to make my life a better one by ridding myself of the scum that I have killed over the years. I don’t feel any remorse because remorse is a luxury I have not experienced in my life. I don’t lose any sleep or am haunted by the people I have killed. I am in here because the world views me as a monster, and monsters have to pay for their crimes.
